Sore Foot
Emily: Man, this algebra homework is so hard. I just don't get it. How do you add a letter to another letter and get a number. My foot hurts. I'm such an imbocile.
Brittany: Huh? whats an imbocile? that words too big, it has too many numbers. It makes my foot hurt!
Emily: Can someone pass me an atlas please?
Brittany: I have an atlas at home but I don't think you'll find imbicile in there, try an almanac.
Emily: I dont think that you look for imbocile in the almanac, those are for antonymns and cinnamons. Everybody knows that, just like they love Raymond.
Brittany: Oh, you're right. What about an encyclopedia.... isnt that the big one? i'm not sure that word has too many numbers too!
Emily: Man, i need to start jellin...my foot hurts from all this thinking
Brittany: yeah me too, my foot is like going dead.
Emily: I tried the dictionary, but like there were way too many words, and i couldn't find it.,i looked under e...but it just wasn't there.I dont think the dictionary gives definitions anyways. I mean c'mon, everybody knows that dictionaries are like just for spelling only, and they can't even spell imbocile! Man, my foot is hurting me really bad. I think i'm going to ask my mom to take me to the orthodontist
Brittany: No, the orthodontist is like for babies, the chiropractor is for foots!
Emily: No, the chiropractor is like...for brains surgeons, if anything we should be visiting the dermotologist.
Brittany: oh, i think you're right! OW that hurt my foot really hard, anyway i think we should check the almanac.
Emily: okay...but lets get a snack first
Brittany: okay, what do you want?
Emily: i'll have some Cola Coke and some n+n's...or are they m+m's.....i can never remember
Brittany: idk.. i like jack and acks.. ir is it mike and ikes? i like pepsi.
Emily: i think its ike and mikes...but i think they are m+ms....
Brittany: yeah that sounds right.
Emily:yeah, that sounds right.
Brittany: OH MY GOSH one time oh, i forget... my foot failed me. i can't find any ike and mikes.....i guess i'we'll just have to eat mike and ikes.
Emily: Okay. They have mike and ikes too!?!?! My foot fell asleep..and i cant like wake it up..i tried putting an alarm clock next to it, but it like won't wake up...so i can't think straight.
Or is it curvy...how are u supposed to think?
Brittany: i dont know, i thought it was spiraly!, i have to go like make my bed, or was it the dishwasher... i dont know!
Emily: i think you empty the dishwasher. i dont know what you do with the bed...
Brittany: no, you empty the bed and make the dishwasher... i would know i do it every day!
Emily: wow...this coke is like....really bubbly...it says it carbonated..does that mean it has like a lot of carbs? i've been watching my figure you know. i've only been to McDonalds for one meal now.
Brittany: i dont konw i thought carbonated was like cardboard!
Emily: no, cuz then the drink would be like...crunchy. oww! the pain in my foot!
Brittany:*crys* *snffle* ouch! i stepped on the wall
Emily: ouch..i hate it when that happens...i also hate it when i trip going upstairs.....it hurts
Brittany: yeah... i did that today, stairs are the things that like go up and down right, like at the malls, i think theres one in Coughmans.
Emily: thats at the mall, isnt it? I love the mall!
Brittany: yeah. there was like this big sale at like Aroposle!
Emily: i know..i bought like 100$ of stuff there...but i keep seeing a butterfly on the clothes....i cant figure out how to get rid of it...it keeps like flying to different shirts and stuff...it changes colors too...its like..like a camoflauge-really-small-butterfly that is out to get me.
Brittany: i saw that butterfly too, maybe its like a stalker!!!!!!!!!
Emily: Yeah...to like Aeropastle shoppers! Like american eagle has like a little bird on it.
Brittany: so does like hollister.. its really confusing!
Emily:and ive seen like off brands with like hippos. And owls. I'm really scared...we should like alert the authorities...like the president or the mayor.
Brittany: dont they know that animals are meant for outside.. not clothes.... except for like flowers? Oh i saw one of those things at the theater where like there was this big box and people were in it and they were like talking and like walking.
Emily: WOW! I've always wanted to see that. Well, my foot is really hurting, and it won't wake up..so i'll just put the rest of my body to sleep. good night
Brittany: nighty night!
Emily: i hope your foot feels better
Brittany:you too!
Emily: my mom's gonna take me to the orthopedics center on Saturday so that i can get out of school. I guess I'll see you later.
Brittany: Thats awesome! Okay, bye.

DEVOTIONS EVERYDAY MAN!!!(or woman, depending on who's reading :) )
Better witness.
Reaching out as far as my wimpy arms can go..

Voila!
Well, since its Christmas Eve, I feel obligated to tell you what Christmas is REALLY about!
I knon, I know, you've probably heard this millions of times, but have you ever actually read or listened to it?
Christmas is a holiday about gifts. Not the kind of gift you get under your tree, wrapped in flashy paper, and waiting to be opened; but the kind of gift you find in a manger, wrapped in swaddling clothes, and waiting to save the world.
Christmas is a Birthday party. Not just any birthday party, but the birthday party of a king, Jesus Christ.
Christmas is a time for singing. not songs like Jolly ol Saint Nicolas, or Jingle Bells, sure you can siong them, and they're fun to sing; but don't forget the songs that are sung to worship the king, like Oh Come all Ye Faithful, and Angels we have heard on High.
Christmas is a time for someone, but not for you. Christmas isn't about what you can get or how much fun you can have, but what you can do for others, and what you can do for Christ.
This, is Christmas:
1In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2(This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3And everyone went to his own town to register.
4So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
The Shepherds and the Angels
8And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ[a] the Lord. 12This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." 13Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."
15When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about."
16So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

I'm baaack!
Well, the past week has been among the hardest of the entire year so far. Tests, quizes, smarge twizes, and projects due on MONDAY! The meet at Hathaway Brown was cancelled,so swim season has ended, and I am sad. All that time waiting for it to end, and now I miss it a lot. I like having free time, and going to home after school. But I miss the people on the team, swimming, and the chance to beat my time. Its kind of depressing, but kind of relieving. I hope I'll be able to do it next year. Who knows? Maybe I'll even do some summer swimming, just to make Mr. Gates happy.
So, I'm appling for the e-team, and at first I didn't think I really fit anywhere, but now I think I've made my choice. I've been listening to Shaun Groves, and A LOT of christmas music, plus the added America Rock music from Mrs. Scott's class. Well, now that i'm out of my endless pit of non-blogging doom, I have to go. I'll try not to fall in again, but in the event that I do, please at least warn me that I need to sleep with one eye open, okay?
