See You @ The Pole Before...

Who: You!
What: See You @ the Pole
Where: You're Flagpole!
When: Tomorrow at 7:00 A.M

Why: To pray for our schools, students and staff members. To be a witness and take a stand for Christ.

Theme: Call 2 me

Verse: Jeremiah
33:3 Call 2 me, and I will answer u, and show you great and mighty things, which u do not know.

Please come! Take a stand for Christ and a chance to pray for the schools in our nation. This is a nationwide activity! You have approximately 10 hours and 49 minutes to get ready for the impact of Christ as you and your fellow classmates and teachers Call 2 Him!

"What If His People Prayed"

What if the armies of the Lord
Picked up and dusted off their swords
Vowed to set the captives free
And not let satan have one more

What if the church, for heaven's sake
Finally stepped up to the plate
Took a stand upon God's promise
And stormed hell's rusty gates

Chorus:
What if His people prayed
And all who bare His name
Would humbly seek His face
And Turn from their own way

And what would happen if we prayed
For those raised up to lead the way
Then maybe kids in school could pray
And unborn children see light of day

What if the life that we pursue
Came from a hunger for the truth
What if the family turned to Jesus
Stopped asking Oprah what to do

He said that they would hear
His promise has been made
He'll answer loud and clear
If only we would pray

If My people called by My name
If they'll humble themselves and pray
If My people called by My name
If they'll humble themselves and pray

Again, just another day.....

Well, its just been a blur these past weeks: teachers, friends, homework, and tests/quizzes. Mrs. Scott is finally back, but now the 6th graders are going to Camp Fitch and MRs. Caslow is leaving. Oh well, i got permission to hang up See You At the Pole posters (whioch you should be comming to: 9/21/05, 7:00 a.m, at your school flagpole) and i was a little down when my friends left for taco bell (i didnt mind them leaving, they asked me if it was okay) adn when Mr. Misch told me that Kristen couldn't come to scghool with me for a day due tyo legal reasons, when i walked back to my locker and heard " When i Survey The Wondrous Cross" playing form MR. Gallagher's room and i felt better. That was a week ago, then this past week i went camping and it was awesome! WE went with the Hembrees and some other people from church, that was a BLAST! Then we came home and went to school, and I felt sick most of the day. Now i am sitting on the computer typing away because Andy pointed out i hadn't posted in a while and i had decided i probably should...WEll, enough of all of this boring stuff...im going to leave you withan awesome song that encourages me...
Artist: Matthew West
Song Title: More lyrics

Take a look at the mountain
Stretching a mile high
Take a look at the ocean
Far as your eye can see
And think of Me

Take a look at the desert
Do you feel like a grain of sand?
I am with you wherever
Where you go is where I am

And I'm always thinking of you
Take a look around you
I'm spelling it out one by one

(Chorus)
I love you more than the sun
And the stars that I taught how to shine
You are mine, and you shine for me too
I love you yesterday and today
And tomorrow, I'll say it again and again
I love you more

Just a face in the city
Just a tear on a crowded street
But you are one in a million
And you belong to Me

And I want you to know
That I'm not letting go
Even when you come undone

(Chorus)
I love you more than the sun
And the stars that I taught how to shine
You are mine, and you shine for me too
I love you yesterday and today
And tomorrow, I'll say it again and again
I love you more

Shine for Me
Shine for Me
Shine on, shine on
Shine for Me

(Chorus)
I love you more than the sun
And the stars that I taught how to shine
You are mine, and you shine for me too
I love you yesterday and today
And tomorrow, I'll say it again and again
I love you more
And a Pic too....

Sad Saturday

Today we closed the pool. It was sad, we don't get to swim in it for another winter. Oh well, it was freezing cold anyways. Today Beckie, Brittany, Audrey, Mrs. Hembree,, and my mom went shopping for homecomming dresses. Elizabeth and I stayed home. Right now she is playing mafia, and we are going to take turns. The other person gets to use the laptop, and i was playing dorky internet games.Well, im gonna go, post later!

Just Checking in

Well, i haven't posted in a while, simply because I didn't feel like it. Its just been school. Classes, teachers, friends, and homework. But i have had fun seeing all my friends and going to the football games. The one thing i'm not enjoying right now in school that I usually enjoy is band. WE have to play at a football game, so we have to practice using flipbooks. I absolutely,
positivly, HATE with a capital H A T E flipbooks, I don't know why, I just do. Beckie had her sweet 16. WOW ! My sister is 16. I never saw that comming. She had lots of fun, and Stephen walked into the screen door....hehe...sorry Stephen, i couldn't help but say it. Luke is at his usual, lazy and loving. WE discovered today that he responds to L words, like loser, lala, and other stuff like that (he looks up). Well, thats all for today, (i know, short post, but i don't have much to say) so I'll post some time in the future.....but I'll leave you with a picture. and my computer is being stupid so i can't change the font color.
