Falling Trees

If a tree falls and nobody is around to hear it, does it make a sound? YES!!!!!! I learned about it in science today! When something vibrates (such would happen when a tree falls) it sends waves that travel through a medium-such as water, air or a sold. Since there is a medium around the tree (air) when it falls, the sound waves created by the vibration make a sound.....no matter if you hear it or not! So, the next time anybody asks you that, say YES!!!!!!
